My company's clients included banks of various sizes which came to us to fulfill branding needs for ATM machines. This included a diverse lineup of offerings for different situations. Depending on the ATM location and purpose (e.g. walk-up, drive-up, in-wall, standalone, etc.) a completely different approach was needed. Our offerings ranged from entire wall installations to self-powered units intended for disaster relief.
For designs with complicated construction that required tight clearances, a 3D model provided assurance the ATM machine would fit inside the enclosure. The ATM machine itself was obtained by the vendor and needed to be converted to a compatible file-type before being imported to allow me to build the enclosure around it. The model served to check the dimensions and preview the design for approval before construction.
